IS 11169 (Part 1):2022 17C8C: Cold heading quality non-alloy steel 17C8C to IS 11169 (Part 1):2022, for parts that are not heat treated after cold heading or cold extrusion, supplied as wire rod, bars or wire of 2 to 100 mm. Maximum tensile strength as hot rolled is 520 MPa.
