Version draft-1, effective 14 Oct 2026
By registering on M-EX and by confirming these terms at the points where you create a listing or an RFQ, or pay an entry fee, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Each confirmation is recorded with your user account, the terms version, the place where you confirmed, the related listing or RFQ, the date and time, and your IP address.
M-EX is an online exchange that introduces buyers and sellers of metal. [Legal to confirm: whether M-EX is a party to any sale contract between users.]
Fees for viewing, entry, quote submission, counter offers and successful deals are shown on the Pricing page and at the time of payment. Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise at the time of payment.
Contact and company details of the other party are not shared until a deal is confirmed on M-EX. You will not attempt to identify or contact another user before that point, and you will not include company names or contact details in remarks, notes or documents.
For [24] months from the date a counterparty is first introduced to you through M-EX, you will not enter into a sale or purchase of the same or related material with that counterparty outside M-EX, or for a quantity or terms first discussed on M-EX, without paying M-EX the success fee that would have applied on M-EX. This includes buying or selling a remaining part of a quantity after a partial deal on M-EX. [Legal to finalise the period, the remedy and any agreed compensation, with regard to Section 27 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.]
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you post, quote or accept. M-EX may edit or remove content that breaks portal policy and may suspend accounts that do.
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
When these terms change, a new version number applies. You confirm the version in force each time you create a listing or an RFQ or pay an entry fee.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city] have jurisdiction. [Legal to confirm, including any arbitration clause.]
